Chief Executive Officer

Alpha Insurance Company Limited, a progressive and rapidly growing General Insurance Company with Window Takaful Operations, invites applications from dynamic and visionary leaders for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Position Overview

As CEO, the incumbent will be responsible for steering the overall affairs of the company. The role demands a results-driven leader with strong strategic insight, the ability to inspire teams, and the vision to shape corporate culture. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the appointment will initially be on a three-year contract, extendable based on performance evaluation by the Board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic plan and policies.
  • Build strategic alliances and partnerships with reputed organizations.
  • Serve as the company’s key spokesperson.
  • Shape the company’s culture and vision while fostering high performance and morale.
  • Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Collaborate with the Board to define values, mission, and long-/short-term goals.
  • Identify the opportunities and address challenges for sustainable growth.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with Human Resources to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.

Education & Experience

  • Must possess a graduate degree in business administration, public administration; finance; commerce or marketing or equivalent from a well-reputed institute duly recognized by HEC or such other professional qualification relating to the principal line of business.
    OR
    Be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants OR
  • ACII/FCII or Fellow/Associate of the Institute/Society of Actuaries (UK/USA) or equivalent as recognized by the Pakistan Society of Actuaries, or master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management or Actuarial Science from a university recognized by the HEC.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a Senior role (Key Officer, Director, CEO, or Principal Officer) within the Insurance/Takaful industry or as an officer with Insurance Regulator.
  • Be a fit and proper person under the Insurance Companies (Sound and Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012.

  • High integrity, proven financial prudence, and strong professional presence with the ability to develop influential relationships.
  • Has the skills, knowledge and experience to assist the organization to achieve its primary and other objectives in a public sector / government environment.
